new week
Had a wonderful full weekend. Just the husband and I...the boys were with their other grandmother. We went thrift store shopping, out to visit mom, then out to eat. Sunday morning we went to church where the message was 'if you only had one month to live' and pastor Joe was great. He is a good speaker. The music was very good too. After church we drove to Elgin for barbeque. So nice. The weather was perfect and what more can a girl ask?

Hi Roxie. Must be hard seeing your mum as poorly as she is. Thankfully you're able to visit her and even if she isn't able to say so, I'm sure she is appreciative of your visits and your love for her.
I was interested in the sermon you heard at church and wondered what I would do if I only had a short time on earth!? Makes me think.

Roxie ~ may your blog be a place for you to share, encourage, inspire, and renew. From your posts, I feel for you. I live in CA, but my grandparents, who are about the same age as your mom, live in Northeast Texas. They too are in really poor health; and I wish I was closer to them so that I could see them more frequently. It's great that you are praying for God's will - I know it must be hard for you. Glad that you have a good church and great speakers to listen to. Have a good day.
